How to Use the Cookie Tip Cards

In case you haven’t heard, demonstrating Cookie Tips is a sure way to increase sales at your home shows! Cookie Lee has created Cookie Tips Cards that give step-by-step instructions on achieving multiple looks with our multi-function jewelry items. Here are some tips for using this fun tool to get great results at your shows:

Using the Cookie Tip Cards for a Mini-Presentation at Your Shows

Prep: Print out all the Cookie Tip Cards (preferably on card stock), cut them out, hole punch the upper left-hand corner and put them on a ring. This will keep them organized and easy to take from show to show.

Choose three Cookie Tips that you will learn how to demonstrate at your shows and practice them beforehand. At your show, choose three “models” to use to demonstrate the Cookie Tips on for the rest of the guests at the show.
Bring your Cookie Tip Cards to every show to use as a “cheat sheet” in case a guest asks you about a tip you aren’t familiar with.

HINT: You don’t have to know how to do ALL the Cookie Tips, but it’s a good idea to focus on learning the new ones for the current season.

3 Reasons to Demonstrate Cookie Tips

They show the versatility of the jewelry and provide a great opportunity for you to point out the value.
They add value to your role as the Consultant and help you establish yourself as the “jewelry expert”—that means your hostess’s guests will be more likely to book shows with you.
They are a great way to get guests involved—interacting with you and each other! The guests have more fun and you get to know them better at the same time.

HINT: Check out the “Fashion Value” section of each Cookie Tip Card. It says how many looks you get with that necklace. Simply divide the price of the jewelry item by the number of looks so you can tell your customers their price per look!

Displaying the Cookie Tip Cards at Your Shows

Prep: Print out the Cookie Tip Cards with tips for necklaces with cool features.

Attach the front (visual) and back (instructions) together and place the card in or next to the tray of the item(s) that perform that Cookie Tip.
Print out additional copies of these Cookie Tips Cards (on regular paper) and include a copy in the shopping bag of anyone who purchases one of these items. Optional

HINT: This should not take the place of demonstrating Cookie Tips, but should be done in conjunction. Displaying the Cookie Tip Cards will encourage your guests to interact with the jewelry and help them see the value of items when you aren’t able to demonstrate to every guest personally.
